Downtown Greer, South Carolina is has begun to rebuild after many businesses closed during the recession. In 2013, 11 new businesses were added with only a loss of 4. The small downtown area may be suffering from a lack of parking spaces as consumers hit the popular area. That could hurt the lunch crowd who only have a short time to grab food and get back to work. The city is looking at several option including spaces at bank BB&T and the First Baptist Church that might have spaces after hours.
